The Georgia PRSA presented Chapter Awards

Ellen Weaver Hartman, APR, is the 2006 inductee into the Public Relations Society of America-Georgia Chapter's Order of the Phoenix and the Georgia PRSA Hall of Fame. Hartman is president of Weber Shandwick Atlanta
The chapter also honored the following:
Karla G. Harvill, APR, was named the Radiant Star in memory of Dyar Massey. Harvill is public relations manager at Gold Kist Inc.
Shira Miller, president of Shira Miller Communications, was awarded the Luminary Star Award.
Lynne Unglo of Lynne Unglo & Company, Inc. was given the Shining Star Award, recognizing a mid-level public relations practitioner for demonstrating achievement and leadership.
Erin Steele, director of communications for United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta, received the Rising Star Award.
